Many of us have already heard about the silky sand and gorgeous beaches of Can Cun and its magnificent climate. Latest, we heard something about the new seven world wonders and NOW! We are just ready to visit one of them, besides, as you have noticed, the chosen places are classified as one of the best or the best in each denomination as the second biggest coral reef in the world and so the list goes on as we will notice.
You have already received a bag as a gift, with the schedule, the kind of cloth suggested the stuff you will need to be comfortable and information about the currency.
We will travel on an air-conditioned Van. A bilingual guide will be always with us.
The average announced temperature ranges from 77° F to 86° F. Travel insurance provided through AIG travel guard We recommend wear swim suit under light cotton clothing with long sleeves, hat or cap, sandals or wet shoes and tennis shoes, take always an extra T-shirt and a towel. Use always sun block lotion, sunglasses and biodegradable insect repellant, bring purified water. We suggest binoculars and a simple camera, remember that at all archeological sites in Mexico there is a restriction: 8 to 10 dollars for bringing a video-camera. At Tulum, only few shops accept credit cards but there are atm machines as well as money exchange. Rates are in US dollars and remember that taxes and tips have been included. Breakfasts are included in hotel rates.
March 21 (Day 1)
6 AM depart from LAX
11 AM Welcoming and picking up at the International airport of Can Cun
12 AM Drop off at the Maya land Hotel. Located within the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza archaeological park. We have a reservation in the main house with breathtaking views of the Maya Temples. Anyone coming to see the ruins could not find a more wonderful place to stay. At Mayaland all you need is walk a few paces and you are inside the archeological zone. Actually, since Mayaland is the only hotel so close to the archeological zone, it is absolutely unique. The hotel provides light and sound tickets with no handling fee to the guest.
1.30 PM Buffet lunch and welcoming
3.30 PM walk to Chichen Itza archeological park. At 4 PM in front of Kul kul kan pyramid on the evening of equinox march 21 while the setting sun, a celebrity meeting will happen, a dramatic display of the shadow of the feathered serpent god, also knew as Quetzalcoatl to the Aztecs, will appears sliding down the northern stairway….and vanishes. For the optimum viewing of the serpent of light be near the great courtyard which faces the western facet of the kul kul kan pyramid beginning at about 4 in the afternoon and ends about 7 PM. At the bottom of the stairs a giant stone carving of a snake’s head make the appearance complete. Meanwhile we could explore the observatory, the temple of the warriors, the ball court and the group of the thousand columns.
7 PM You may stay at the light and sound show and have dinner or return to the hotel, enjoying the beach and the hotel dinner.
March 22.
7 AM Breakfast
9 AM Pick up to be Transfer to Riviera Maya. Along the northern coast of the turquoise Caribbean Sea, It extends over more than 95 miles of silky sand beaches, emerald jungles, millenary sink holes, archaeological sites, ecological reserves, theme parks, picturesque villages and many tourist developments
11 AM Arriving to “Tierras Del Sol” Hotel in Tulum. It is a strategic place for our tour:
Mayan ruins of Tulum 10 minutes, Sian Ká an 5 minutes, cavern hidden world 20 minutes, X Caret 45 minutes and Xel Ha 30 minutes.
13:30 PM transfer to Sian Ká an Biosphere Reserve Sun set tour. The tour begins at 2 PM and ends at 18:30 PM. It is an ecological Tour for people interested in experiencing and learning about nature, ecosystem, tropical birds and plants as well as Mayan culture and history, although we occasionally see mammals,snakes, crocodiles and manatees. It is translated from Mayan as “where the sky is born” or “gift from the sky”, It is a Mexico’s world heritage as recognized by the United Nations educational, scientific and cultural organization (UNESCO). Traveling by boat traversing the two northern most brackish lagoons, passing a small Mayan Ruins and view up-close the mangrove island which are nesting areas for many of the birds found within Sian Ká an continues through a narrow 11 kilometers natural canal which traverse the expansive mangrove swamp and savanna grassland, surrounded by birds, tall mangrove trees, orchids, bromeliads, termite mounds. Thousand of small sink holes (cenotes) from which the lagoon is filled. After a snack and refreshment we enter the canal again to commence a half-hour relaxing float wearing lifejacket and being carried by the water’s current. After getting back the boat we travel to the ocean edge to view the coral reef and searching turtles and Dolphins in their natural environment. We end the tour following the peninsula back to the center for some relaxation on the beach.

March 23

8:30 AM transfer to Hidden World “Cenote”
9 AM Located in the hearth of the Yucatan’s underwater cenote region, offers the unique opportunity to experience cenote snorkeling at its best, Even if you have never put on a wetsuit before, Hidden Worlds has trained staff to instruct you on the finer points of snorkeling, so you can embark on the jungle adventure of a lifetime.
12 PM Transfer to Xel Há (all inclusive) open from 8:30 to 6 PM

All inclusive packages includes park entrance, hammocks, bathrooms and showers, floats, lifejackets, river train and bag to transport your belongings, use of a snorquel equipment and a snorquel tube as a gift, towels and a familiar size locker, beverages and meals in any of our restaurants.
6PM. Drop off at Tulum hotel
March 24
7 AM Breakfast
9 AM transfer to the Mayan Ruins of Tulum. In Mayan means “wall”. Tulum were used to be the main commercial port for the Maya civilization. After your guided tour of the archeological site, you will have time to explore the pyramids and temples on your own. (Total time at Tulum is 2 hours).
11 AM transfer to X Caret. (All inclusive). The biggest natural aquarium in the world. Swim in underground rivers, see the coral reef aquarium, and explore the archeological sites, additional activity is swim with Dolphins. (125 USD plus). Transportation at any time will be open and is free for us to return to the hotel.
March 25
9 AM Farewell breakfast and Final Thoughts.
1 PM Picking up from the hotel and transfer to Can Cun international airport.
11 PM Arriving to LAX
